Jaylen Johnson: Free-Agent Receiver With Almost No NFL Track Record
Jaylen Johnson is a 25-year-old wide receiver out of East Carolina who entered the league in the 2024 draft and is listed with two years of NFL experience. He is currently a free agent, so he has no team and no defined role. The data offers nothing on how he would earn targets or touches.
His recorded NFL production is a single game in 2024, which finished at a PPR rank of 1974. There is no stat line for 2025 or for the 2026 season in progress, so there is no per-game baseline to compare against and no trend to read.
The Clutch Edge projection has him at 14.9 points per game, ranked #275 overall among QB/RB/WR/TE. That figure is hard to square with one game of recorded production and no current team, so treat it with caution rather than as a reason to roster him. For season-long and DFS purposes, he is not a usable option while unsigned. Signing with a team and appearing on a game-day roster would be the first things to change that, and even then there is no production history to project from.
