Sammy Watkins

Sammy Watkins is listed as a free agent wide receiver, age 29, out of Clemson, with nine years of NFL experience since being drafted in 2017. The file shows no current team, so there is no role to describe: no offense, no depth-chart spot and no target share.

There are also no 2026 stats on file and no prior-season numbers to compare them against, so there is no per-game trend to read in either direction.

The Clutch Edge projection has him at 16.7 PPR points per game, ranked 147th among QB/RB/WR/TE. A free agent cannot score fantasy points, so that figure only becomes relevant if he signs with a team. For DraftKings and FanDuel this week, a player without a team will not be in the player pool. In season-long leagues, he is a watch-list name at most. A signing would change that, and the role he lands in would determine how much of the 16.7 projection is realistic.
